It would be nice to make a website with links to this forum, the podcasts and several personal blog pages.

I have an idea for a logo for an Iliasm website. What do you think about this:

@mirrorchid what about this? Pretty enough. Is there symbolism I'm missing. Your iliasm logo with the two people i's with their backs turned to each other was a splendid incorporation into the name. Don't get me wrong, I'll take it. I was merely blown away at the built in metaphor.

I'm a terrible judge of such things, I see sexual innuendo in everything : )

@mirrorchid I couldn't come up with something symbolic with this name. In the purple part you could also see a person. Perhaps one trying to be heard?

two new variations. Thinking about miscommunication / communication in the wrong direction. Also not fitting in / being left out.

two new variations. Thinking about miscommunication / communication in the wrong direction. Also not fitting in / being left out. Yeah, that was my missing the symbolism. CSL got it. I'll keep the original, so far. The refused explaining him/her/zerself in the center and the words never reaching the refuser (the podcast title) behind. Having the title outside the circle could be another symbolic placement I'm not seeing so readily. My wife is the artist/poet. Problem is, I also like the broken circle of the second suggestion. The circle being screwed up is a good metaphor as well. Two circles with sound waves emerging, "talking past each other"? Talking in opposite direction? Soundwaves canceling out a la white noise? Mind you, the effort you've put it serves the need and I'm just playing at this point. I'd be curious what you'd come up with, but respect we're all busy and you've been generous already.

This second one is good, as it is a perfect depiction of a refuser: "I get to broadcast, but I'm not going to accept your broadcast." What would it be if the top right and two bottom segments were all dark purple, like the center circle, and the incoming segment, the upper left segment were light purple? In my mind that would seem to show the refusal to hear and accept the other's needs.

I like the idea, but I also see the circle at center being the refuser who's broadcasting (express his/her/zer needs) and the gray lines are the absence of words the refuser hears of the refused needs, having turned his/her/zer back to the refused. I'm with you CSL, a lot more is said and it keeps the broken circle. It's a keeper.
