Sorry to add yet another smutty comment to a thread which did not start that way...
But I cannot resist.
For some reason the phrase "lantern in a dark tunnel" makes me think of a woman's sex toy that has an LED light built in to the tip.

(I'm sorry. I can't help myself. My mind just "goes there". This is one of the symptoms of me being chronically undersexed. Then again, take that "excuse" with a grain of salt: when I'm getting plenty of sex, I'm probably just as smutty if not worse...)
