Months ago (probably sometime in June) I was curious as to whether or not we are wearing our wedding rings, especially those of us still in an SM. I mentioned I would post about it, and then I forgot. jim44444 reminded me tonight. So here you go. If you respond, do let us know your reason(s) why/why not. Inquiring minds want to know.

I took mine off when the divorce process started. The rings are in a box together (engagement and wedding band). I'd like to get the diamond reset, but haven't gotten around to that yet.

I took my ring off 10 years ago during an intercity move. It was misplaced and I found it 6ish years ago. But truth be told, I didn't want to replace it by the 3 year mark of it being missing. And once it was found, I definitely wasn't going to wear it because I was angry and frustrated with the roommate.
We talked about why I wasn't wearing it because he asked. But that was the last of it.
Typical.

Mine is a simple and with diamonds (like Jen Aniston's when married to Brad Pitt) around band. Not much I can do to reset it. I'm sure one of my kiddos will take it one day (and never had an engagement ring).

Mine is just a plain band of white gold. He made sure to find me one that cost $100 less than the one I had bought for him. I didn't take mine off until I had told him about divorce (& maybe even later than that. May have to check my own posts on the exact timing.)

I can't recall the year, but I hurled mine into Bass Strait in a grand gesture at one point. It sleeps with the fishes.

Haven't worn that bullshit symbol of our failed marriage for 2 years now. Good riddance!
Still in a sexless marriage, but hopefully not for much longer!

I still wear mine for my in-laws. They're the only extended family I've got within 100 miles. I wish I could get along with W half as well as her awesome family. On second thought I'm not sure my heart could ever allow that - getting ripped out and smashed is not soon forgotten. I have a strong affinity for my roommate's family. I'll miss them once this whole deal is done.

Just: he was stingy with everything from day one. So many red flags I just kept painting green (he's not frivolous- that's good ... rather than "oh he's cheap") I always accepted less than I gave. I would have been better off buying myself a $300 ring. I'd have one worth $300 now instead of a $200 one.

I wear mine, I kinda like it. Solid platinum, looks nice, and weights a lot. My wife on the other hand does not wear hers, but that has nothing to do with a statement about marital status, they no longer fit.

There was no "other" option so had to put "took it off". Actually I sold it along with the engagement ring at a jewellers the day after I arrived. With the cash raised and some financial help from mum and dad, I bought my little car so I could get to my new job.

I don't like wearing a metal ring around my finger. I noticed my left finger is skinnier than my right. Ring sits on my desk.
