Yup...she sees the other women flirting...there is yet another discussion brewing soon about the lack of sex. At this point, I'm not going to bring it up. I left the bedroom. She is playing dumb about the matter.

I can't recall the year, but I hurled mine into Bass Strait in a grand gesture at one point. It sleeps with the fishes. Hmmm...I think I saw that scene. Them two hobbits found it at the bottom of the drink...didn't end well for either of them as I recall...

It's in my box of memories. At the bottom.

Seeing as baza was in a SM, I'd say that she had that one.

"It hurts too much to wear" "It is uncomfortable"
Nobody can ever say you lied about that. Perfect answers!
I love this forum. I had just been thinking about my wedding ring last weekend.
My W doesn't wear hers, she has gained too much weight. I even offered to get it resized for her. If we go out she manages to make it fit. I still wear mine. I've been thinking about "misplacing" it though, maybe in a large body of water like baza. I certainty don't want any of my kids to have it, wouldn't give that kind of bad luck to them.

I haven't given this much thought until now, I still wear mine for social reasons. It's always been a topic of conversation as it's on the larger side as far as diamonds go. If I stopped wearing it people would Inquire.

I haven't worn mine in nearly a decade. Basically, when I stopped feeling married.

Stopped wearing it very shortly after I moved out in January, unless we were seeing our couples counselor or I was at church.
And admittedly, I would take it off if I was out with friends or the dogs for maybe a month or two before I left.
Haven't worn it at all since probably March. It's been in a drawer, first a dresser drawer when I was staying with a friend, now that I'm in my own apartment, it's in a desk drawer. Once everything is said and done, I'm not sure if I'll try to sell it or what- it's hammered white gold, so it's impossible to resize. I'll figure that out when I get to that point, since it's still six more months away.

Just a polite question, or maybe more of a food for thought question. Why the put it back on at church? Shouldn't church be a place where you can be open about these every day life issues? Gods word addresses these things. It's just so wrong that "tradition" gets in the way of true compassion and mercy. (just a personal opinion)

I took it off one day, about six years before the marriage ended. The site of it repelled me. My wife commented once. I found it a month ago when I was clearing up after we had parted. It sits in a drawer and I'll keep it as a reminder, in case I'm ever tempted to do anything as silly again!

Took it off a few weeks ago. I left it somewhere and now have no idea where it is. Who cares.
