Maybe we're not quite as sexless as our marriages would indicate? LOL! Great movie line... "Remember dear, when we were married you had sex more often than me." And yes, I'd be more comfortable being blunt with someone I met here, for sure. Someone who considers desire "normal" and appreciates it. I've had those blunt 1:1 conversations here, and it's an amazing degree of openness. I doubt anyone here would accuse you of "Only wanting Sex!", being a "Horned Dog", or a "Two Peckered Billy Goat". BUT, you never know .. |

HA! I bet feeling randy or lonely or just plain horny wouldn't be such an embarrassing subject to broach with someone you meet here, would it. Not at all. To me being horny means you are still alive and healthy and if someone connects with someone intimately online and can make it a little more exciting, if they can make someone else feel wanted and desired then just enjoy the moment. However that is something that should be private that's what makes it special. I agree bballgirl! :-) If anything, being a member of this community has awakened me to the fact that my feelings are healthy and have been all along. |

I'm cracking up at myself becasue when I saw the poll, especially the "had sex with more than 2 people category, I felt silly because I'm like, REALLY! I didn't realize that was a THING. hahahahahaha I guess there are some things I'm naive about beyond what teenage girls are thinking.

I didn't realize that was a THING. hahahahahaha I guess there are some things I'm naive about beyond what teenage girls are thinking. I don't think that poll question was meant to mean more than 2 people at once. (Someone please correct me if I was wrong) |

Surely an emotional 'affair' is more than a crush? I would have thought it would entail a reciprocal sharing of thoughts, feelings etc. If it is a friendship that you need to hide from your significant other, then you have crossed a line. I have online friendships that have been going on for nearly two years. They are simply friendships for me. I don't consider them emotional affairs because we've never crossed the "sexual" line. I enjoy them for who they are. But.... I haven't told my husband about them. I don't hide my texting. If he ever asks, I'll tell him. Wait.... people actually hooked up through EP?....wow.... some people got it... some of us don't...i am sure my stories probably scared away the women anyway.... being attractive to the opposite sex has always been a real problem for me.... not feeling any better about myself..ouch... I never even had a conversation with any one on EP...
