"Dad, your well-meaning interference in my marital issues is not helping - it's only spurring me to a quick end.
"Trust me that you don't have all the facts, and that you are being fed a selection of half-truths. The details are not for public consumption or debate; neither is this a community decision - you need to have faith in my judgement and realize that I weigh my decisions seriously."
From the outside, your parents are making bad decisions here. They know they're only hearing one side of the story, and yet they're apparently willing to take it at face value and presume you're in the wrong (and not be forthcoming about your wife making a trip to see them). There doesn't seem to be much loyalty, benefit of the doubt, or faith in your ability to make adult decisions - that would seriously piss me off.
