Same bed (queen), and it's frustrating. Full pajamas and a pillow barrier. Close, yet untouchable.
We had a double bed for a long time, and it was plenty big enough. I'd hesitate to get more than that next time; it just creates opportunity for more gap. Then again, we never used the double bed for anything exciting, so I may need to be educated on the merits of a bigger bed.
I would love to have a tall four-poster one day. Curtain rails, the works. And very solid construction...

Inever thought I would have nostalgia for the wet spot. The G spot, sure, but not the wet spot... I always loved it. Oh yeah, I'd honestly forgotten about that... Wow, that *is* sad to think about... I don't remember ever minding sleeping in it, because back in the day with previous partners, if we'd made a wet spot, we were both falling asleep naked and intertwined anyway.

I did notice that this morning as soon as I left the bed, she rolled right into the demilitarized zone. It's like WWI trench warfare in there!

We both had to be on the bed or both off the bed to fuck. Ex is under 6'0 but not much and when a woman gets her ass up in the air the angles might be tough. I have a regular bed now. The four poster thing is very romantic but not practical. Of course in my case the problem wasn't the bed.

The whole need-a-ladder-to-get-into-bed design kinda kills a bunch of on-off positions. I noticed that could be a challenge with our current pillow-top bed; of course, that problem has never presented here...

Except maybe an unwilling partner.

Opens up some possibilities.

Never had a four poster myself, but tried at least 5 different ones at hotels.... loved them all...though both parties were extremely willing ... did not notice any geometric problem...
