Ahh I make up a game of it now. I know it infuriates her so I initiate (knowingly what the answer will be)and see how many excuses she comes up with. And just laugh and go to sleep. Pretty childish but it gets me by. Stay strong out there.

Tell him. Tell him how frustrating the whole encounter was for you. Tell him how vulnerable you were in that moment wanting him to touch you intimately and all you got was a shoulder rub. Tell him how hurt you felt when he flinched at your touch. Maybe he has no idea and assumes that you got the same thing out of the encounter that he did. I missed my chance i guess ... i was so angry i was afraid of what i might say..... i tend to say things very bluntly and to the point and i thought being angry it would only make things worse. I plan on NEVER letting it happen again the maybe telling him if he asks to tries why bother i can get my shoulder rubbed anywhere. see still PO he is IMO not as naive and plain stupid as he acts about this. last time i addressed a similar situation he literally was saying he thought i would get rubbing a shoulder as the sign .... told him no one in the world would think that had many other places he could touch that would have been a clue ...... it must have looked and felt like a condolence move for someone who had an accident or stuck out at softball. Lmao a shoulder rub..  That’s a new one. I always told my stbx don’t touch me there unless you mean it when she would grab my junk when she walked bye. She stopped doing that.😂🤣 |

If we were never going to have a sex life then all other intimate touching would end also. It was going to be all or nothing. Touch without sex was just a cruel reminder of what was missing from the marriage. We don't even really kiss anymore except for the little pecks like you would give a relative. |

He is one of those people who does something mean while smiling at you and laughing, trying to make it seem like a joke so you can’t get mad without seeming like a humorless asshole. I had a father-in-law like that. He quit doing that after I lost my temper and got in his face about it. Most of those types are bullies and cowards.
I know this one example of your husband’s behavior is not an adequate statistical sample, but he sounds like a typical cruel, narcissistic asshole.
Sorry, that type of behavior really pushes my buttons.

I wouldn't let my roommate treat me like that, and you shouldn't either. I know, easy to say, harder to do, but you might want to start setting some boundaries. I'm big on boundaries. Boundaries are good.
