Tire fire, when I was with my refuser, we went completely without sex our last 8 years. We also had 2 and 5 year sexless stretches. Never again.

And if all a woman wants is sex, that's great. The trouble starts when we want sex AND romance AND a man with a brain. I hear you. Honestly, all the good stuff goes together. I miss passion. I miss someone looking lovingly. I miss real conversations about positive things like vacations, dreams, future. I miss long, long kisses. I have come to dislike the 'peck' with defensive body language. Anyway, I'm looking for the whole positive passionate life with someone.

"Counting roots" is a pretty unproductive passtime. Whereas it might *hi-lite* the problem, it won't do anything to resolve the problem - unless you are working on a benchmark where you think "when it gets to 0/365 I will do *something*". And if that is your motivation, you may as well start doing the prep work (for whatever number you select, and whatever that *something* is) now. Time is not your friend in these situations. Do you have some sort of number in mind to trigger your *something* Brother tirefire ?

The sad part is that most men could pull that off if they just gave a damn. The problem for me is that I have no desire for romance if there's no possible chance of sex to follow within the next month or more and my highly logical brain weighs the benefit to cost ratio and determines it to be less than worth the effort. That's basically where I am with everything except being cordial. I used to massage her back regularly... but there's no return for me. I tried to make her fantasies come true, but there was never a return for my efforts. So now I exist to shuttle the kids around and just be me.

Lol I'm more talking about single guys. Sadly much more likely to get laid than those in a SM

Ok, I'll bite...what's with the title 107 days? I have a little counter on the homescreen of my phone. It's now been 108 days with no sex. 😨 I just keep the counter to stay focused in case I occasionally start to drift to feeling that things are normal or ok. They aren't ok as long as that counter still has a big number. I figured that was it. Mine got well over 1000 before it was done.

Should I feel better that I probably won't ever experience that? By the time I get this SM either fixed or ended, I will be old enough that I may never have any kids to be jealous of.

Yes those women do exist.... No doubt about it....but for ever one, there are ten men who want to get in her pants too....numbers do not favor the men..... And while searching, expect to be called a pervert a few times.... And if all a woman wants is sex, that's great. The trouble starts when we want sex AND romance AND a man with a brain. I used to have a manager at work who had a sign in her office that read "Good, cheap, fast. Pick two." Somehow it seems like you could apply that logic to your situation.
