Word of wisdom from a friend of a friend, that I haven't had the pleasure to in person watch, stay away from the collapseable poles. The top and bottom need to be screw mounted into solid wood or a wide heavy ridged base used. Even a normal height, skinny girl can put a lot of stress on the pole. Especially when they start spinning like an Olympic gymnast. Having to take her to the ER is not the way to end the night. |

I'm killing it in my pole classes, y'all. Ok, not as fast of progress as the younger students but for a "not yet 50" broad - I amazed myself last week. I can do my sit on either side, stretch from that to a plank, & I even did a crucifix (not long) & moved into a sit from that. Shammy - send me a link of the pole you select. (I'm kidding- my landlord wouldn't go for it) Next time I buy a house though - it WILL have a pole! So excited for your forward progress, shamwow! |

Yesterday I bought mattresses. I'm not sure if there is something seriously wrong with me in the way I evaluate these purchases now. Sure...comfort and style. But with the bed, the padded bench attached to end got my mind wandering. And I let the salesperson talk me into an adjustable bed. Sure, it was comfortable, but my selection criteria now include what sexual positions are possible with the bed, anchor points, and how the new adjustable mattress can change the angle of penetration. Buying a mattress is so much more complicated now that I have to consider having to do more than just sleep (or get pushed away) in bed. (Note: I am only referring to visualizing sexual positions in my bed, not the kid's beds) |

So I received some good decorating advice today. Since the fireplace mantle is already taken with the samurai swords, I was thinking this would go better framed in an art niche at the new house.
Basically, the suggestion was the used targets from the gun range I tear up from time to time. Nothing says class and eloquence than a collection of thoroughly perforated gun range targets.
I think most women would find a good head shot grouping alluring. Shows accuracy, patience, and control.
Thoughts?
