I feel I should clarify that I have a strong belief in the abilities of traditional Eastern medicine for a great many things- I've used acupuncture and cupping myself many, many times for sports-related injuries, I used to practice Qi Gong with an ex-girlfriend and her roommates (who were all in school at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine), and I am a strong believer in all forms of energy that we can't "detect" through normal scientific means.
I just don't get a very good feeling from the therapist or the "wellness center" she has her office in. And I worry that this will be another form of avoidance for my wife to dodge her problems.
But I'll do my best to keep an open mind. I guess I'm just jaded and skeptical after so many previous claims of "magic bullets" that haven't ever panned out for her.

I look at a lot of wives and think 'I couldn't be married to her'.
