I have a birthday coming in a few weeks and I was wondering how do you handle the day?
I know there will be no sex or physical contact from my roommate since in all the years we've been married I never have had sex on my birthday. And now that I think about it, it didn't happen in my last marriage either.

I just had mine last week...
And I have never gotten laid on my birthday in my life....I just tried to relax and do other things I enjoy....and things she might accompany me doing....and just try to smile....save the SM issues for another day.

Oh shit. Two birthdays ago, I had already told my hubs about the divorce decision and had already moved to the guest room. I asked him to make us tostadas for dinner. That is what he did as the gift. This was an improvement over the prior year, believe it or not.
The previous birthday, he stood there in the kitchen telling me that since I was so hard to buy gifts for, he didn't know what to get so he didn't get me anything - but don't worry, he would buy my dinner that night (the price of a gyro, basically $6-8) - - oooh big spender.
Ask for whatever you think you really want that she would be willing to do (dinner out, a certain homemade favorite, whatever)

Previous marriage, every year on my birthday. Seems a million years ago. Current marriage, never on my birthday. But why should my birthday be different than any other day.

I got laid on Sunday, and as we were lying there afterwards, it just then dawned on me, hey, wait a minute, today's my birthday! I forget if we did on hers. We don't make a big deal of birthdays LOL. |

Or anniversary sex either. So the idea of Leap Day Sex is too mind boggling to contemplate You helped me very much that day when he forgot my bday so thank you again. You explained the plane/parachute/ downward spiral to me. As far as Leap Day Sex, that was a spur of the moment text to my AP about the opportunity in front of us in regards to the calendar and he dropped by after work. |

I'm proud of how you've taken charge of your life. I had the big 6-0 yesterday, something I was dreading for s long time . No bday sex, as usual but I'm in a better place anyway |
