No one is perfect, but his tiny little slights are so perfectly timed. Why, only on my birthday does our food just happen to come out spicy? Gas lighting? Assuming it was a genuine error on all parts, some guys would try to salvage their failure to deliver... go pickup another order? Or say "I'll put this in the fridge - let's go get something you'll enjoy." It's not rocket surgery, dude. BTW, lookup "micro-aggressions" and "micro-inequities". All the latest PC rage, but pretty squarely hits this kind of behavior. Micro-penis

Best time is "when a shit is not given", and when you are prepared.
Sounds to me like a small amount of shit is still given.

First off, a big hug to you. SM is hard, hard stuff. Meltdowns are bound to happen. Second, you didn't ruin his Father's Day any more than HE ruined his own day by playing his part in all this. It takes 2 to tango and you 2 have been dancing for a while now, right? Let that one go. Not your fault, just bad timing. Beyond that, I don't have much to offer that you don't already know. Just keep doing the next right thing and you will get to where you are supposed to be. Hang in there honey. Tomorrow'll be a better day. Hth. :-) This 100 times. I'm not telling you not to feel bad. You're a good person with a heart, it is natural to feel this way. But do not forget why you had that talk with him in the first place. You've made your feeling known for awhile now, any hurt he experiences was brought on by his own actions. You're not bad for bringing it up, forget the timing or what today is. You're just a woman who has had enough of being neglected. If he's serious, he will do something about it. Furthermore, don't put so much weight into Father's Day. It's a day. It's all about our own expectations really. Shit happens, you spoke a lot of truth last night, it is necessary. Hugs

I'm cracking up at myself becasue when I saw the poll, especially the "had sex with more than 2 people category, I felt silly because I'm like, REALLY! I didn't realize that was a THING. hahahahahaha I guess there are some things I'm naive about beyond what teenage girls are thinking.

Rhapsodee , it used to be that if a married person developed an interest in someone else, but did not physically stray, it was called a crush, and nobody got too upset about it. After all, they *are* technically obeying the rules. Now, if you are married, but have a crush on someone else, if you are unlucky enough to be found out, it gets called an "emotional affair." And your refuser, and refuser apologists, will carry on about it as if you had actually been f-cking that person. IMHO, if a spouse is refusing, and all you do is develop a crush on someone (and nothing physical happens), they have no right to complain. It this is correct, I've been having an emotional affair with my new impact wrench. I have such strong feelings for her.... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I think the demise of the EP site had a whole lot to do with how they chose to run it, their unilateral modifications, and their complete lack of consultation with the membership. People ended up voting with their feet. And it became so user unfriendly that the influx of new members slowed to a trickle, and then stopped. - But there is probably something in what you say Sister JMX. I can't remember the source, but I do remember seeing somewhere some credible figures saying that the busiest times for people filing for divorce is just after Xmas, and just after Valentines day. These seem to be the peak times for when the avoidant spouses latest disengagement become 'the final straw'. It also seems like there is a baby boom 9 months after natural disasters. I know it's happened many times, FWIW.

I'm a ENFP too JMX. I think its pretty accurate. I have a little reference guide and the N says, "Intuition: People who prefer intuition tend to use their imagination to see new possibilities and insights focusing on the future." and then I add "In BED." I like it.

Will you organize some fun activities on the cruise?? You are on a roll!! lol! Of course! Strip poker for casino time, Dare or Dare, live music, lots of booze, orgasm races and tallies, loaded questions (such a fun game)!, the possibilities are endless. And there is the second book. Games for ILIASMers. New York Times Best Seller list. The Today Show. And a book tour around the country, you can stop in and see everyone from here on your tour. I especially like Dare or Dare, fucking hilarious.

Alimony (also called aliment (Scotland), maintenance (England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Canada), spousal support (U.S., Canada), Pussy Restitution (bballgirl, U.S., Canada, ILIASM), and spousal maintenance (Australia)) is a legal obligation on a person to provide financial support to his or her spouse before or after marital separation or divorce. The obligation arises from the divorce law or family law of each country. Traditionally, alimony was paid by a husband to his former wife, but since the 1970s there have been moves in many countries towards gender equality with a corresponding recognition that a former husband may also be entitled to alimony from his former wife.
