Richard, I recall that Rhapsodee did serve, driving heavy machinery into war zones. So, even if she overlooked the humor, I greatly respect that she's entitled to her opinion.

I explained offline. A matter of subtleties of communication getting lost in translation in online forum. All is well.  You owe no apologies to anyone. I thought Rhapsodee's remarks were particularly immature and arrogant. She obviously does not understand how MEN who have served their country relate to each other. Perhaps if SHE had ever made the kind of sacrifices so many millions of MEN have made to provide HER with the freedoms SHE enjoys, SHE would simply keep HER opinion to HERself. We all got it richard. There is no need to continue pointing out that you a misogynistic shallow bully. We understand. |

Richard, just stop. Really. Don't comment on things you clearly know nothing about. it's pretty apparent that harbor a lot of anger and resentment towards women, we get it. Go find another site to troll, this isn't the place for it.

Also Richard, you neglected to point out the millions of WOMEN who have also sacrificed and put their lives on the line, and continue to do so. Because, you know, that's also a thing and shouldn't be discounted in any way, shape, or form. |

It seems the reason *some* people find themselves in SM's may be nothing to do with their partner, rather because of their own negative attitude to other human beings in general!

And here's the Buddhist in me perking up again.
It is possible that this anger is his reaction from being in a SM.
So I forgive him that.
However, I do not allow that anger to be taken out on anyone. Period.
There are many therapists who can help him.
Find one.

I am sorry I got the thread "Dear Ladies" shut down. I was not done with Richard, but I will listen to the red wine this time as you suggested! (and being redacted sucks) No worries, Bob. You didn't get the thread locked. Since you beat me to sending you a PM, I'll reply here. The point had been made and the thread was destined to a death spiral, so it was locked. A couple posts were removed to curtail the escalating dialog. Yours was edited to leave several points that deserved not to be deleted. In general these are all actions we strive to use very sparingly. |

I spent the formative years dealing with bullies or people that think they need to prey on others. I usually favor a very direct approach in dealing with them. *Shrug* I can live with having my stuff deleted ... I Regret Nothing! |
