The last movie we watched that had nudity (Gone Girl), she didn't even bat an eye, except to compliment the actress, as casually as if she were ordering a pizza. Then she went to bed halfway through because she was tired.

It's ironic that watching a sex scene, in a movie, with a refuser can be awkward, embarrassing, and plain uncomfortable. It's as though you are sitting with your opposite gender sibling, rather than your spouse/lover. It really tells you something about the state of the relationship when something that should be drawing you closer, just leaves you feeling awkward. More like your opposite gender PARENT! |
