I get the self-sufficient thing....totally me....even the sexual side...
Having put my left hand out of commission recently by putting a razor blade through it...i found it the one time I could let some things go...
Hope all has gone well!!!
Hot dogs only take one hand to eat....as well as "garbage plates"....

Thanks for the well wishes, my dear SM friends. Surgery went well. I got home at about 1pm, and I'm in only minimal discomfort. Numbnuts has stepped up rather well. I'm doing my best to show appreciation and not roll my eyes at any shortcomings. Thanks again, everyone!

So happy your surgery went well, @andie. No eye rolling, deep sighs of discontent or sarcasm, missy. Remember your short, declarative statements - no "asking," just stating specifically what you need in the fewest words possible. That way, Fido...er....numbnuts, won't be confused.
