ENFJ here; pretty solidly, it seems. For much of my life, I scored INTJ, and then I recall briefly INFP.

Oh! And, I want your sign back as well Fiery. One time, I commented on something fmina wrote on one of my stories and I think she took my comment the wrong way and blocked me! I remember scratching my head not understanding why at all. I mean, I can be a tad harsh, but I wasn't with her at all.

Holy Hell - the ENFP relationship section was basically fascinating for me. Yep, it's me. www.16personalities.com/enfp-relationships-datingMy husband is an INTJ and I read somewhere that those two were supposed to be perfectly matched. Or at least perfect opposites? Idk. I guess it doesn't work in my case - but I bet me and Fiery would be a fascinating pair of friends! He he. We are already I guess! The i Ntuitive, Thinker, Judging in the Introvert me is now dying of curiosity to know the MBTI ® results of my EXH (and a few other meaningful relationships I've had before and after him.) Most probably, it means nothing. A loveless/sexless relationship is just that. It happens. Period. So now dear JMX I want your Zodiac sign as well as your full natal chart, and that of your STBX-s too. I would go out on a limb and say you're a Sagitarius with Ascendant in Virgo. But could be wrong Most probably your STBX is a water sign. Cancer - much?! Dear, dear... this thread suddenly got so interesting! PS. Where is my zodiac obsessed former EP friend fmina when you need her?!
No way her STBX is a Cancer. Cancer men usually are good providers for their family. I absolutely love astrology. I have always been drawn towards Taurus men, I find them to be so thoughtful and dependable. My ex was a Gemini, great talker about things he was interested in, sex not being one of them. Me- I'm a Leo but I'm very close to the cusp so I have a lot of Cancer mixed into my personality too.

Okay, that is a little weird - you just described me and my STBX exactly!

Thank you for the test recommendation! I think I like my ESFP rating. Though I do plan and keep things in order, I do value freedom over structure and I desire living each day fully. That's what makes a SM so terribly painful. Morning "action" or an afternoon rendezvous or a quickie in the tent under the Colorado stars should be such a big part of that carpe diem attitude.

On the old EP site there used to be a forum area and there was a huge, years-long discussion about this that the geniuses at EP decided to delete one day without warning along with a ton of other interesting stuff. All I can remember from it is that there was an extremely disproportionate number of INFJ's compared to the general population---it's the rarest MB type. And I'm one to a T!

I have taken the Myers Briggs several times in my life with various scores. The most consistent has been INTP, which is pretty much me. The last time I took the test was in a tech writing class in college. Sure enough, almost half the class was INTP, which is pretty typical of the profession. Seriously? I'm a technical writer. And an INTP. Although I was almost evenly split between T and F - they had to ask me some extra questions to find out which one it was.

On a different thread JMX brought up her personality in regards to the Briggs Myers test. She stated she was an ENFP. I thought about mine which is ESFJ and thought about it in comparison to JMX's. We had 2 in common the E and F. The E not a big deal in contributing towards the SM but the F (feeling) maybe it did. I always cared more about the way my ex felt than I did about the way I felt. ESFJ is known as the Caretaker of the 16 personality types, think Mary effin Poppins, that's me! I would be curious to know what other's on here are for their personality test. In particular how many come up with F. Although I cannot remember the designation I do remember the last time I took a Myers-Briggs evaluation. It was part of a team exercise and I and a colleague decided to sand bag the answers. When the team reviewed our results we got a few "What the hell! Really? " looks. I always got my kicks from screwing with the people who give those tests.

I can imagine the surprise they would get seeing the results that someone who is very quiet and reserved comes back as an extrovert. Thats funny.

I am INFJ, also conflict avoident. And in the personality description it says 'finding it difficult to leave an abusive relationship'. I can totally recognize that.
