Never give up, never surrender... Didn't some guy often seen smoking a cigar Have similar advice?
I had to look it up to be certain and found it was a catch phrase from the fictional TV show "Galaxy Quest"
Anyway Winston C. had a lot of good sayings.

I had my first Ketruda infusion today. The needle stick hurt some but the infusion was a breeze. There were no after effects from the treatment and I actually felt better leaving than when I sat down for the infusion. I might be on Ketruda for 2 or more years and getting an infusion every 3 weeks.
I changed my dressing on my surgery incision and it looks OK. The staples feel a bit rough (texture) but there are no signs of infection. I drive my manual transmission car to all of my appointments and to the store without any problems.
I don't have a middle name but I adopted 3 middle initials {TOB) tough old bird. I wonder if the phone directory will add TOB to my residential, white pages, phone number listing?

My medical billing has gone crazy. My first Ketruda infusion billed out at at a little over $17,000 then the insurance company said I only had to pay $1,484 co-pay. I went on line to pay the bill and got a 20% discount so I only paid 1,187.20.
The on-line Drug RX price for Keytruda is $5,264.67 for 4 milliliters so why does the cancer center bill it out at $17,000? My new car back in 2008 only cost $8,750.
This isn't the end of the billing. I might get an additional charge OR I might even get a refund! My last bill still has unpaid stuff from 18 Dec 2019 because the clinic and insurance companies haven't decided who is going to pay for what and at what price. It is something about getting the medical coding number correct and what can be approved with other medical coding numbers. It looks as if the name of the procedure I got doesn't matter. What matters to the insurance company is the medical coding number.
My advice=do not have major medical conditions in the USA. The prices for treatments and services are out of this world. Get sick in Europe or one of the Scandinavian countries.

It has been 100F for several weeks. I have air conditioning and set the thermostat to the recommended, power conserving 78F. My W likes to keep a window open a little for so called "fresh air." We also use several fans inside the house to keep the air circulating and assist in small amounts of moisture evaporating from skin. What drives me crazy is it is 78F inside the house but in the evening as the sun is going down, it is still 90F outside and my W wants to turn off the A/C and open the windows to the 90F air. She winds up doing the open window thing if I leave the room so I just decided to give up. It is the same way when we are in the car in the summertime. 78F inside air but to my W 90F outside air is cooler.
Mild Claustrophobia and an anxiety disorder are running her life.

My X was similar. She wanted a window fully open most of the time for fresh air. She even got mad at me when I closed the window during the winter when it was about 20 degrees. She vented at me that I didn't want her o have fresh air and was trying to keep it from her. During the milder, warmer months she would sleep outside on the screened in porch. Funny thing is now that she has her own place again and is paying for the power to heat/cool she doesn't seem to feel the need for all that fresh air.

new problems the tubes between each kidney that go to the one bladder seem to be screwing up. I got 2 stents R & L but they screwed up too so now I have 2 external pee bags. Hopefully I will not need the pee bags when the infusions end. The local hospital is overrun with covid clients. There used to be 5 clients per nurse, Now seven, sometimes with additional medical needs are assigned to each nurse and they hired some nurses not finished with their training but are closely supervises So far most things are still manageable but the doctors and nurses want to thank everyone all of the people that were reluctant to get the earlier Covid vaccine. Now the doctors and nurses are over worked, tired but earn a little more money but Pay more income tax. along with some other rationing events. One doctor said these late un vaccinators with no jabs, are making him really irritate. The clients had a long opportunity to to get fully vaccinated but didn't. Now they fill up the emergency triage department but here they are setting services, making it difficult to find bed space and causing shortages with some items or some supplies But the reality is people are getting decent car. I did have a few weight times but not when something was urgent.
Did I tell you I am getting good nursing care and some are vert attractive and engage me on a personal level

when anyone invades your space just hold your breath momentarily.🧡stay safe When I walk into a place and feel the whoosh of air I also hold my breath.
How many infusions do you have left? do the infusions over several years stay at 3 week intervals? I hope you have met your deductible.

They are charging for staff, supplies, facility charges. All the little bs charges.

The 2 new Nephrostomy are improving. One still has some pink drainage and the other is normal pee color.
I was thinking about the thread where the question was "How much sex would you want."
I looked at my medical history and found over 10 things I have been recently treated for. I thought about the excuses some low-no drive spouses have. With all of my issues and if I could be on the bottom, I think I could easily handle being ridden cowgirl style, 3 times a week.

Plenty of fun to be had regardless of the restrictions, you just need the right lady.

With all of my issues and if I could be on the bottom, I think I could easily handle being ridden cowgirl style, 3 times a week. Ah Handy this reminds me of a long time ago I had major neck surgery. After 5 days in the Hospital I came home with 17 Staples on the side of my neck. Picture Frankenstein. The W asked what she could get for me and I said I needed a massage from laying in a bed for 5 days. So she set me up on the living room floor and proceeded to give me a massage which led to her riding me. So yeah physical issues can be an impediment but can also be overcome with mutual desire.

I could go for being ridden but I don't think about it in a realistic sense. Wishing and wanting leads to disappointments and I have enough real issues to overcome so trying to overcome wants and wished just leads to more problems, which I do not need right now.
Jim, it was good to hear your developments. How are the neck surgery long term after effects?

How are the neck surgery long term after effects? Only long term effect is reduced sensitivity on the left side of my face. Not an issue.

My latest issues. I went on a bender (over indulgent activity). A couple of days ago, I drank 1 quart of butter milk and then bought 2 more quarts of lowfat, cultured buttermilk and drank half of that to day.
I compared my buttermilk prices to Jack Dniel's bourbon, $30 to $40 for 750 ml. My 1.89 L @ $3.48 was much easier to pay for and the buttermilk tasted way better than the milk of magnesia I needed to wash down.
Do I need to be in an AA program?

Cornbread works for me too. I cheat and buy the cornbread Jiffy Mixes. My w doesn't like many things that I can enjoy so the small Jiffy Mixes work out well.
I am not much for alcoholic beverages. One beer or it used to be 1/2 a beer used to be my limit.
