How far into the Great White North? It does share a border with the US. Not too far. Montana in hour in a half or so. Just renewed passports again, so free to travel. It's about time you renewed your passport!!!

We are scattered everywhere. The Skype call was fun, hoping that another can happen in the future There was a Skype call?? I missed it?? :-( A couple weeks ago, started up by the folks who went to FL, so those who called in could "meet" too. I think we are going to try for more in the future.

I would visit Seattle! Never been. I've never been most places. Other great destinations we know some Skype calls came in from were Boston & also Savannah. I'm game for anywhere US depending on school schedules. And in a couple years, outside US will be calling my name too.

I very very much like Seattle! I was there for a week 3 years ago during Tableau Conference. May have partied a little hard, and bought some hobo's (as they called themselves) a few drinks. There was also 2am Beastie Boys karaoke walking back to the convention center from the space needle one night... though I did not partake in any local herb. :-)

Look at that... So close to Pike's Place market and the ferry!!! C'mon down! Hahaha! But in all honesty I think a Seattle Meetup would be so cool. I'm going to start a thread to gauge some interest levels. I will put it under the "off topic" section just like the Florida trip was.

I'm a little further inland. Anyone heard of the 1000 Islands region?
