Just before Easter I have brought some groceries to my stbx and daughter. I wanted for my daughter to have some nice things for Easter. 3 days later (!) Stbx sends an e-mail with 'thanks for the groceries' and an image of Jesus with the message 'The Good will concur the bad'. Is it strange that I am annoyed by this?
Jesus is his big (and only) friend these days, but he fails to apply the lessons of Jesus to himself. And as usual he likes to ignore the fact that I am not religious.

Not at all. I feel angry just reading it.

I'm annoyed reading it too. I don't even know what that quote really means & it still agitated me.

Send him an email with skimpy undies and say "You were right! Good sex overcame the bad"!

Tamara, this is pretty common for people with mental issues. My STBX once told me that she was a child of God and could not be criticized. But if I did something she didn't like she would say that God was going to "get me." If I did not know enough about God myself, it could have turned me off Christianity completely.

My stbx said similar things. He probably thinks I am posessed or so, because otherwise it can't be explained that I leave a good man like him. He probably feels connected with Jesus, because Jesus endured some rough times too. Almost as bad as my poor stbx.

It has nothing to do with you. He is just disturbed.

You should tell her that Jesus loves him.
The rest of us think he's an asshole...

When someone has behaved as abominably toward you like your idiot spouse has, just about anything they say / do is going to annoy the shit out of you.
Mr Tamara68 could compose something to rival the Gettysburg Address, and it would still annoy the shit out of you.

Rotfl: I speak Plattdütsch, so I pretty much get 50% of that ;-)
But: spoken Dutch, might as well be Greek.

Ah well, so God is her pitbull. Ho humm. And yes, as a fantasy not at all uncommon for the mentally deranged.
