Bravo! I think the exercise releases endorphin's in your brain that makes you happy! Who can say that is a bad thing? Keep putting in the effort working out, it will get easier and you will gain so much more mentally. I started a boot camp style workout 6 months ago and I love the physical and mental improvements I feel. Everyone quotes lyrics to songs so I will quote you a little played Pink Floyd song "Shine On You Crazy Diamond"; "Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond". Shine on E! ..."Now there's a look in your eyes like black holes in the sky." Don't let it go there.

I believe in a post from June 7 you said quitting his job would push you over the edge. Well here you are.

Sister eternaloptimism. Here's something that you might take away from this. Bullshit abounds in ILIASM shitholes. The refuser bullshits the refused as a matter of course. But we - the refused - are not immune from bullshit either, except we tend to bullshit ourselves. - "Everything is great bar the sex" we tell ourselves. Bullshit !! "It's just temporary" we tell ourselves. Bullshit !! "I've had a gutful and I'll leave" we tell ourselves. Bullshit !! "If he loses his job again, I'll leave" we tell ourselves. Bullshit !! - We cannot stop our refuser spouse from bullshitting us, that's what they do, and is not a matter we can control. What we CAN control is the amount of bullshit we tell ourselves. - If one does not have the appropriate legal advice and a do-able exit strategy, then one is NOT going to leave ones ILIASM shithole. There is no point in us telling ourselves otherwise. Actually, even with these things it doesn't mean we'll enact them. - So, that's my suggestion. Desist from telling oneself bullshit. There is already quite enough of that going on courtesy of the refusive spouse. Don't say things to your spouse that you don't mean. And definitely don't tell yourself things that you don't mean. It does nothing whatsoever to advance your position. - Secondary suggestion. Get your legal advice, get your exit strategy organised. From that position, you "might" actually bring your deal to resolution. - Addendum. I just proof read the above, and want to add that this is not intended as a personal criticism of you Sister e. It used your situation as a reference point to a wider principle.

Jesus, it's a half marathon of that? Most of the obstacle races here are 5 or 10k's.

I don't think I'll be doing it tbh.
September isnt really the best time to train for a half marathon in those conditions in October when I only got my trainers out of storage last month ha ha.
Maybe the next one ๐

Yup. Let's avoid those!
I try to be kind to myself in training and pushing it that far at this stage ain't gonna do me any favours is it.
Injuries just make me mad because I can't get out until it's better. Grr. ๐ค

Injuries just make me mad because I can't get out until it's better. Grr. ๐ค I'm the same way with injuries, and *still* push myself too hard most of the time. Then again i learned long ago that the person I'm most impatient with is myself.
