I may not have the inner peace that I once had, and I will not strive for it as striving is the opposite of peace. Best to accept each moment and let it happen in it's own time, if it comes, it comes. However, I'm grateful to have known it, to have had full and utter contentment and the Love that brings that peace. It's the love that makes the difference. It gives peace of mind, peace of heart, and inner contentment on such a level that you have no need for more even when you only have little in the material sense. To truly love, and be truly loved is bliss.
*I wrote this 3-years ago on FB, and it's as true for me today as it was then.*

From me, to you, Caris. A reminder to all of us to be gentle and kind to ourselves. Namaste.

So eloquently said," to truly love and be truly loved is bliss". Wonderful! We all have different definitions, and experiences of that. Some trivial and simple, and others far more complicated. A very nice little nugget to think about!
