Wonderful - I'm printing it, saving it, and bringing it to my counseling appointment next week. We've been doing a lot of work based on Brene Brown who basically says the same thing in more academic terminology.

I'll this here, because I cannot tell you how many time I've wanted to say this, especially when some flunky is mansplaining MY project to me.

Best day ever was when his supevisor said, "yeah, she's the reason you have a job. It's her show and I think you just got the hook, bud." Flunky then tried to shift blame onto me saying, "you didn't tell me you were in charge." I told him to go home. 25 years later, he has one of the most innovative HR policies and we are very good friends.
