I'll just agree with those who say it's quality not quantity that matters. Marriages that have lasted 50 miserable years are not successful marriages.

Talk to your priest. Annulment is still possible. If one spouse has broken the marriage vows, and means of repairing the marriage have failed, annulment is possible no matter how long you've been married. Doesn't annulment mean the marriage was never valid in the first place? That is one reason, and there are many variations of that, but it can become invalid based on abuse, infidelity, and other reasons. Of course, the Church requires that people attempt to reconcile. However, when attempts at reconciliation have failed or one person is unwilling, annulment becomes a possibility.
