lonelyhubbyYes it happens both ways.... thinks holding hands is great .... flinches if i touch him at all thinking i want more. his kiss if he does at all is as welcome as kissing an old relative at a family reunion often on my cheek. I actually moved my hand at night and grazed his thigh he jumped and fell out of bed....It was hysterical. Do not know what his issue is .....but the last few times we managed anything he had his hands to his side would not even touch me and i am not afraid of human touch. I wonder if it is a mental thing because it make no sense he was NOT like this before i used to get massages just to have human touch since it is all over in case i want more then he can do.

Definitely a mental thing, toughtiger. I suspect CSA, but whatever it is, I am sure he has some sort of trauma in his past.

If you had grazed my thigh like that it would certainly make my day for sure and I would have reciprocate, same with kissing. I'm sorry your husband didn't like it.

Humans usually aren't touch adverse unless something tragic happens in their past. Aversion to touch is also prevalent in neurodiversity, learning disabilities and lots of mental health issues.
