I would be tempted to force feed them the card - How could they not interpret this as a slap in the face in light of a sexless marriage situation?

That card needs a tube of superglue so it never unfolds. The writer of that card needs a larger tube of superglue but I will leave the rest of that to everyone else's imagination.

This hits my Coot Button. If he knows that his wife is upset over the sexless state of the marriage, this is just mean. Although I am always on the side of niceness, I believe the proper response to being given this card would be to look at the Hubs with a direct gaze, while slowly tearing it up on the folds.

This group - you guys! Omg, so much support & wisdom & laughs. You keep me sane in an insane situation.
I was finally just able to sneak back in to check on the cards. Still presenting prominently on his desk. Still unsigned.
My guess, they are planted there for me to find. Those who know us believe there is a camera hidden in the room. I believe those cards will not be presented to me. There is a slim chance they are intended for someone else. My gut is they are plants. A kinda “f you” to me for filing. A strange way of gaslighting. Actions not matching reality.

Based on what you have shared here in the past, I'm going to say it's highly probable he has a completely separate life with someone else. The money bag, the half-assed way he bothers to hide things. Now this...even if it isn't specifically about sex, a refuser won't give you a card that starts out HOT SEX NOW. And he doesn't seem like the sort of thoughtful individual who would buy an anniversary card a month
early. Unless you have had recent significant progress, this card is intended for another, IMO.

If this is true and this man deliberately planted this card to cause soo much anguish and heartache.. there is a special place for these kind of people. It shocking how some refusers can be so vindictive and put this much effort into hurting someone.. How about put this energy into giving sex to someone and pretend ya like it for 30 minutes instead of planning a month in advance to crush someone s soul. People suck. |

The cards made no appearance. We were both in this house all day on the 14th. Zero words spoken.
I checked his desk yesterday and they are still there. There’s two, the hot sex one and a gushy “you are the love of my life” type one.
Im convinced he is just being evil - some weird form of gaslighting.
This is a certain hell to be sure.
One thing, being in the middle of this divorce - completely took my mind off the lack of sex on a lovers holiday. So, there’s that.
