That's what it seems like to me and the ones that are real and might be looking for a hookup aren't interested in a dad bod. I did fine over on OKcupid. Two things seem to stop guys from getting results: 1) high standards 2) giving up My prospective affair partner was maybe 80 lbs overweight. Slightly thinner than my wife who used to be heavier still. A deal breaker for a lot of guys with dad bods. The other was perhaps 30-40 lbs overweight. I'm a good weight, myself, but I need to firm up some. It's still a dad bod. Too squishy. So I installed okcupid this morning just to test the water. In about an hour I can see that 26 people like me, I'm out of likes though so no matches yet. I'm assuming this means I'm not unfuckable. |

Two took me up on it.
Do you have to wait to be matched now before you send a message?
I messaged married women. The singles might not even give you a second look.
It's possible there's 26 married women TOTAL.
What's your profile? Maybe the ladies here can point out red flags.

So after running okcupid for about a day I had over 99 likes but only 2 matches. Not really interested in paying for the premium until I'm seriously ready jump into the dating world. Seems like non premium users only can swipe on 5 people a day. So I uninstalled. I'll probably go back to that when I officialy separate.

For whatever it's worth (as a person who was cheated on), I think of the satisfaction people get from affairs in the same way I think about the satisfaction derived from running a comfortable lifestyle on a maxxed out credit card, or regularly drugging oneself. There are people who pay as they go and there are people who borrow against the future. At some point, that bill is going to come due, one way or another.
