Beating a dead horse

This came up in my face book memories from 9 years ago. I left 5 years ago. I had been done for 15 yrs by then for just this reason. Yes posting it was passive aggressive but I also told him the same thing many times before I decided I was just done and that was 15 years before I left. And he still said that he had no idea. I posted it here because that's where I was at the the time. Not necessarily choosing to stay but hadnt left. Makes me sad all the time and effort I wasted trying, just for him to not absorb any of it because in the end he only saw and heard what he wanted to believe.
