We'd like this forum to be a resource for all sorts of people, from all backgrounds, dealing with any phase of a sexless marriage. Over the years and across the web, so many voices have given wonderful, touching, or substantial accounts and advice. If you have some posts of yours that you feel would be very worthwhile to re-post here, please do. Also, there are some classic posts from there that have been often cited and really ring true. You are welcome to repost content by other users PROVIDED YOU PROVIDE CORRECT ATTRIBUTION. Here's what I encourage everyone to do: - Freely bring your own original content over
- For content from other EP users: try to reach out to them for permission.
- If granted: bring the content over
- If actively declined: don't.
- If no reply: you MAY bring the content over.
- If brought over, give proper attribution: EP username, date of original post, and link to EP site.
- If any user in the future asks me to remove their content from this site, I will (even if previously authorized).
- For content from third-party (non-EP) sites:
- Give proper attribution: author and date of original post (if known); link to original article.
- If that author/copyright holder in the future asks me to remove their content from this site, I will.
IN ALL CASES: - Start a NEW THREAD.
- Give proper attribution: author and date of original post (if known); link to original article.
I think this workable, practical, and follows the spirit of "Fair Use" guidelines. Here's an example: iliasm.freeforums.net/post/256/thread

So, how do we do this? Just copy and whack them in here, into this thread?
I have recovered my stories from EP. I also know there are stories there that I would dearly love to repost here, in particular the learned and wonderous essays of one Enna30. I am not entirely sure, but I actually got the idea that EP is going to leave the site up, so one can still access the material written up there, but I am not positive on that score.

Well, pretty much that. But don't "Reply" on this thread. Instead, go "up" to the "Best of EP" board, then click "Create Thread". (A "thread" on this forum is like an "experience" or "story" on the old EP site.) You know, that post by Enna30 is exactly the kind of post I had in mind!

I agree! It's gonna take time in figuring this system out. Lol. I need to grab my stories too. Yep -- it will take time. I've used a site similar to this long time ago, and I still feel a bit like a duck out of water here. But, listen, the site is pretty forgiving. Whatever you post, if it looks wrong, just edit it until it looks right. If something goes awry, just delete the post and start over. In a pinch, PM "Admin" for advice or help. Admin (and other moderators, once we have them) can also edit, delete, or move posts. So just jump in, give it a try.

I just posted from my only two saved ILIASM posts, on The Lighter Side. I deleted the rest when I filed for the big d as I was certain he'd be pulling out all the stops to find out about my online posts.

Did Liltree figure out how to post your own stories on your own profile? I know I have some decent ones - but I wouldn't call any of them "important"for their own thread.

Can we put people's stories on here (even attributed) that are not on here? Should we ask them personally if it is okay and, furthermore - have they been invited and just declined?
I would love to see some of the great ones from Baz, Lao, Enna and Zinc (and many others) but I am not seeing them on here. Is it alright to post them here if they are not here?

I'm going to write Enna30 an email and ask permission ... if we get really lucky she may give me her password so I can download them, or maybe she'll download them herself and pass them over.
I feel hesitant to just grab someone else's stories without their acquiescence.

Hi, I am new. What does EP stand for? Do I need 20 posts to PM private message someone? Thank you!

Hi, I am new. What does EP stand for? Do I need 20 posts to PM private message someone? Thank you! EP is ExperienceProject.com, the now defunct predecessor to this site, which covered a ton more topics, but this group proved to be one of the biggest / most active. I don't think any restrictions were ever enacted for private messages.
