What is the issue with the dog in the blue uniform? That's Chase from Paw Patrol. He constituted a target for those wishing to defund and do away with the police. You know...woke MSM and progressives. After all, you can't have an icon in a police uniform in a child's cartoon. Children could conceivably learn some types of behavior will lead to being locked up.

Who the Hell is offended by a potato? 🤦🏻♀️ That is a question best asked of liberals and the woke MSM in the US. Please don't ask me to explain their rational or thinking. It is quite beyond me.

More popular icons that have fallen victim to Cancel Culture and the woke crowd. And I haven't even begun to address the damage Major League sports are doing to themselves and their product. Attachments:

Isthisit Who the Hell is offended by a potato? That is "MR" Potato Potato Head Isthisit. Another gender biased figure for the people that claim male and female gender names are biased. The toy now comes as "potato head" without the Mr or Mrs. moving towards non-binary (neither male nor female) persons. I think I heard some group of people want to ban the term "breast feeding" and switch to "chest feeding."

A trait that I have seen more and more is sizes of items in stores becoming less and less. Yogurt when I first started to buy it was 8 oz / 227 grams. Now some yogurt weigh 4.5 oz / 128 grams.
A brand of soda RC Cola came in 16 oz bottles. Pepsi came in 12 oz bottles. Coke came in 7 oz bottles. Later most sodas came in 12 oz cans. Now there are 7.5 oz cans of sodas. I suppose some people buy the 7.5 oz cans but for me those 16 oz bottles oF RC cola would be my choice. RC Cola is not in any store I shop at for maybe 40 years.
Does anyone actually like the 7.5 oz sizes?
Another oddity is the 20 oz bottles of soda cost more than 2 liter / 70 OZ bottles of soda.

" More popular icons that have fallen victim to Cancel Culture and the woke crowd. And I haven't even begun to address the damage Major League sports are doing to themselves and their product. " As a black woman, I find Uncle Ben and Aunt Jemima offensive because "Uncle" and "Aunt" were terms that white people used -- as late as the 1960s (when I was alive) as honorifics for black people instead of using terms like "Mr.," "Miss,", "Mrs.," "Dr." or "Reverend." Unlike what many here who don't know history think, the images weren't images that were supposed to be reminiscent of aunts an uncles but the images were racist stereotypes designed to remind white people of the "good old days" of mammies and servile slaves. Don't look at the top image here (which is the modern rendition), but look at the lower images: www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/10/06/aunt-jemima-lawsuit/16799923/As for what sports are doing by changing the names of teams like the Cleveland Indians and Washington Redskins: First, "redskin" is an offensive term. Second, how would you feel about sports teams named, for instance, the "Washington Whities" or "Jersey Jews"? And how would you feel if those teams had stereotypical looking mascots representing the kinds of people the teams were named after? For instance, check out the pictures of the Cleveland Indians' former mascot, Chief Wahoo: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_WahooWhat's occurring is eliminating blatant racism.

A gender fluid potato I feel less cross about.

Northstarmom thanks for posting and the link. To me Uncle Ben's and aunt Jemima was on par with Betty Crocker, some person that made something good to eat. I never knew about the uncle-aunt Mr or Mrs titles. I wonder if the term or trade names "Betty Crocker" "Share Lee" and "Marie Callender's" are going to be attacked. Maybe we need to think Betty and Bob Crocker or will it be Robert and Elizabeth Crocker? I see there is already a blog about "Betty Crocker being sexist.
Maybe everything General Mills makes and sells should just be called "General Mills ___________"
No more Cheerios. Just General Mills Oat Circles.
Maybe I better change the name of my "Betty Crocker Cookbook to General Mills cookbook #102/ 1962.

The problem occurs when people who aren’t related to them or who have never even met them choose to put the title in front of their name." Thank you. I had no idea this was a thing. Born in 1967, I'm pleased to say I've not had any associates of mine ever do this in my presence, that I recall. I can only imagine my utter confusion if they had.

I went grocery shopping recently and noticed the Native American Woman with the feather headdress is no longer on the "Land-O-Lakes" products. The name is the same but without a picture.

View AttachmentIf you sell just one potato head with both sexes, you potentially lost out on selling two. Just bad sales practice. "Originally produced as separate plastic parts to be attached to a real potato or other vegetable,[1] however in the early 1960s, government regulations forced the Potato Head parts to be less sharp, leaving them unable to puncture vegetables easily. Children were also choking on the small pieces or cutting themselves with the sharp pieces, so by 1964, the company included a plastic potato "body" in its kit."See, the 1950's had kids playing with sharp objects, the 60's introduced government regulations. If anyone wants to point at the time when America stopped being "great", I give you exhibit A.

I am trying to avoid argument, but a lot of Americans were against racist, misogynistic, lying, conman Trump, whom the majority of voters in both elections didn't vote for. I, for one, prefer Joe Biden. No person or politician is perfect, but I'd prefer to support the politician who didn't use the presidency as a way to fatten his pockets by lying and making deals with the US's enemies.
