It was 26th October 2009 when I left my ILIASM deal.
Ten years ago today.
Lots of thoughts.
I'd like to put them down, but I have no effing idea where to start.
Suffice to say, things are very different now.

I will say you have outlined how much better your life is now compared to before you divorced.
What is important is you and Ms Enna are much happier and I say "way to go."
BTW, happy 10 yr anniversary on your path out of what you commonalty call "the ILIASM shithole.".

This is an interesting post. It never occurred to me to make note of the day/ time or even the month when I knew I was done, or when the 2 of us officially declared time of death on the marriage. Perhaps because they were such a negative events in my life that I didn't want to remember them going forward.

A long road...I'm only two years out and sometimes it just feels like a fading bad dream. Hoping that feels the same for you, although I suspect it is more a mixed bag in your case.
