Mine is 5/21 - I got her exactly what she wanted - I got a card. I had to wait for her to fill it out. You found a card that said Happy Anniversary to my (blank)  (Fill in the blank accordingly) I don't try to buy cards for him anymore. They just don't make any that are impersonal enough. |

Make sure you mail it so you don't have to hand it to her I have to chuckle at the extra touch of coldness, but if things are that bad just skip the card. |

I!d leave it blank. ( that just about covers it!) or you could write in blankety, blank!! |

Today is our 24th wedding anniversary. We were married on a holiday for a few reasons. People could make it to the wedding, several of our memorable moments were on holidays, and it's easier to remember!
Now that the divorce has started, she took our daughters and went to visit her sister, for the long weekend. I would just be avoiding her if she was here, so it makes for a better day.
There's a big tree limb down on one of the rental properties. About 25ft up touching the ground, 12" diameter, that will keep me happy, my mind and hands busy!

Please be careful if using a chainsaw and have a neighbor or safety person around. I had bad experiences with them.

So.... My STBX just walked through the room and paused long enough to say "We should go out to dinner or something tomorrow". I assume its because he thinks 5/24 is our anniversary. We were married on May 26th , 2009. I clearly remember that day. He clearly does not. Maybe I should have posted this under the "lighter side" heading?
I just realized....you were married one month to the day before I was....sorry you are in a similar situation.... |
