I found this. Hope it's not a repeat but I really liked it. To actually employ these techniques with a narcissist takes a lot of work for me.

I didn't lIsten to it. Instead of conversing with them, I avoid them. Nice for you! But some of us can't do that. My mother is narc. And although I live my life with as little contact as I can, I do sometimes need to be in a space with her. |
