If you had the opportunity to meet in person, someone from here, would you? I would in a heartbeat. Though for me I think that's highly doubtful, I think I'm the only person from Canada on here. Either that or the rest live where it's colder and have sex just to keep warm. I have an enhanced drivers license and am not far from the border. I think a meet and greet would be an awesome idea and might I suggest Toronto - such a cool city! Toronto is such a big and cold city. |

Oh absolutely. There are folks here that I feel like I've known a long time. The kind of friends that if they called you at midnight with car trouble, you would go help them without hesitation, and make sure everyone is safe. Too bad everyone is so spread out all over. Ya being spread out is a side effect of our condition. Bada...Bum Here all week folks! |

It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who would love to meet some of the others. I would like to comment back to everyone who took the time to respond to me. In all honesty though, I have no clue how to do that. I'm still trying to figure this place out, on a two inch iPhone screen. And that isn't easy  Gods, I know that feeling. I can't do anything useful with my mobile, other than make phonecalls, send the odd tiny text and read my email if it comes to that. Anything else? forget it. How can you enter text on that stupid thing?  Give me a *real* computer and a *real* keyboard, any day. |

Done it twice (EP, not here). One worked out not so well, the other very well. Those were romances though. As you may have read in another story, there will be no more romances for me. So I do hope to meet some fine folks from here in a more social kind of way. Swingers are welcome JUST KIDDING.

Actually, there are several people on here I'd love to meet. Some in the US some in Europe. I'd also like to go on a run with a certain runner. But not sure if I could keep up. |

I have and it changed my life. Would I do it over, can't say that I would. I know now It's easier not knowing what you are missing. Too many lives can be affected by two people meeting. But just as friends, what harm could it do? But if you are not free, think long and hard before you follow through if there is any chance of it becoming more than a friendship.  ? |

That is a risk we take whenever we meet with a friend, always a chance of escalation. But usually we ignore or suppress our desires in order to preserve the friendship. The difference I see with meeting a friend from here is the amount of intimate soul-baring conversations we may have had. We already know that we are intimacy starved, hard to ignore that elephant. I did meet sleeplessknight for lunch one day, a great guy. I am quite sure my reaction would be different meeting a woman from here. |
