I'm actually surprised. I would still go on vacations with my wife even we were sexless.
Went to Cancun twice without getting any. But still managed to have a good time. I'd hang at the beach, she'd hang by the pool.
Maybe my marriage at its worst was not as bad as I thought!

Today's question for those in SMs: Knowing that you won't get any sex, would you still look forward to vacations alone with your spouse? No. I'm the only one who has to stress about paying for vacations. I'd rather just stay home if I'm guaranteed not to get any.

Not a vacation but yesterday I went to a mid-scale place for lunch, alone, again.
No use being upset. That is the way it is and I am not going to change my W.

I take vacations without the W but in a group concept for multiday bike rides. I enjoy those times. I also take family vacations with the W and have accepted that there will be no sex but I have fun withe the kids and grandkids.
We take a cruise each year and at least one week somewhere with just the W and I. We have fun, we travel well together. However, it does piss me off that there is no sex on these couple trips. It is compounded by the memories of our younger days when getaways were a fuck fest.

I really don't know why we never had vacations together. We did not have any money in the early days and then we had kids right away. He never ever comes with me to see my family as it makes him uncomfortable. It just set a trend. I go on solo vacations or trips with my family or my kids. He goes solo or with a child.
I tried to get him to go on a vacation with me but he was not interested. That was years ago when I was still trying.
When I am just in it I know it is not great but when I explain it to others I really see how fucking bereft my marriage is.

Today's question: What is your guilty food pleasure? People feel guilty about food? But why? Eating something irresistible that you really shouldn't eat?

People feel guilty about food? But why? Eating something irresistible that you really shouldn't eat? Usually when I'm eating something, thoughts of should or shouldn't never cross my mind. Food is made to be eaten or it wouldn't be called food. To say a food shouldn't be eaten is to deny that food its identity as a food.
