Question of the day:
Do you have, somewhere in your living quarters:
1) A turntable for vinyl records? 2) A cassette player? 3) An 8 track player? 4) A VCR? 4a) A Betamax VCR? 5) An MP3 player that uses a hard disk?
I won't bother asking about reel-to-reel tapes, movie projectors, Polaroid cameras, regular film cameras, VT-100 terminals...

Pretty soon we’ll be asking the same about stereos, DVDs, CD players, and USB thumb drives. It’s amazing what we can fit in our pocket (or on our wrists) these days. Still waiting for my flying car...

I found my old 30 GB hard drive iPod recently. Don't think I have a charging cable anywhere. Apropos to a previous question - I won this. I think I have a turntable buried somewhere in this house, and I have some old VCRs and cassette players. I was never an 8-track guy.

Have a vcr/cd player hooked to the TV. Also have a turntable for my vinyl albums. Plus rolls of 8mm film that need converted to digital.

I recently found some undeveloped film from who knows how long ago. I'm idly curious what's on there but I don't know where to develop film nowadays, and I don't know if film lasts that long either.

Allegedly Walmart has a development service.

1) A turntable for vinyl records? Yes, some place. 2) A cassette player? Yes, a couple of them. Most cassettes were converted to MP# files. 3) An 8 track player? NO, I got rid of them about 8 yearsago. I never had that many tapes. 4) A VCR? Yes. One side is a VCR the other side plays DVDs. 4a) A Betamax VCR? NO. When VCR's had a long cable for the remote control, I determined Betamax wasn't what I wanted. 5) An MP3 player that uses a hard disk? Yes. I have a Microsoft Zune I bought it using coupons or store credits for turning in empty laser printer cartridges. I bought it for my W, she didn't like it, and wanted an Apple iPod. I don't know if it had a hard drive on solid state memory. BTW, I have a stand that looks like a radio for each device.
I still have a Sony Walkman, tape and CD versions and a couple of the early MP3 players. Yes, I do own a smart phone but I don't do much with it, just phone calls, a few texts and 2 apps.

Today's question: Have you stayed friendly with any exes? Only had one girlfriend in highschool and that ended badly. Basically she led me on for a few months, used me to pay for prom night dinner and tickets, then dumped me 3 days after. As I was under the influence of religious indoctrination at the time, nothing physical ever happened. I kinda wish I had because she was really into me and extremely physically affectionate. Looking back, she probably dumped me because I DIDN'T make a move on prom night. We never spoke again after she broke up with me.

Today's question: Have you stayed friendly with any exes? Only have 1 ex, but that's a firm no. I would have trouble passing the time of day with someone who I have been intimate with. I understand that most are okay with this, but not me for reasons I couldn't explain.

Today's question: Have you stayed friendly with any exes? Yes. We are freaking friendly with all the exes. Lol. It sure gets easier as time goes on. They become distant relatives kinda. Definitely not threatening. I don't get sick to my stomach anymore when it's a function I know his ex will be at. We both belong. Sorry for randomly jumping in here. I haven't had much to talk about as of lately. Life is just good, you know? And I mean it really is, not just saying. But I like to check in.
