Today's question: Do you use a voice assistant, either a standalone device like Amazon Echo or on your cellphone? What do you use it for? No. I also refuse to use navigation directions when I’m driving and would rather looks at maps and navigate myself. Because I’m Bull-headed. |

I have an Amazon tablet with Alexa in my room. I'll listen to the news and weather while I get dressed, and sometimes ask Alexa to play songs from a specific band I might have on my mind.
I'll use Google Assistant to ask for hours for whatever store I want to go to and sometimes sports scores. I don't trust it for directions... sometimes different street names sound the same.
Haven't yet found a "killer app" that makes them indispensable.

No. I don't see the need. I am also really unhappy with how my life has been so taken over by technology. Damn smart phones are so addicting. I want LESS technology in my life, certainly not more.
And the talking out loud to those things kind of creeps me out.

I did use Alexa on my phone to play toddler songs to my grandkids on Sunday. They weren't impressed  At least I can skip the bad songs... If you haven't yet heard Baby Shark, count your blessings. |

Bonus question: Have you ever been to a strip club? No but I was at a birthday party where a male stripper was hired. I was 17. It was hilarious. Poor guy. Also I had a friend in college who was an extreme feminist. She worked as a stripper to make money while getting her degree and as an empowering "f you" to men. She had a whole explanation about how just getting half naked and dancing and making SO much money was exploiting men, not women. She saw it as payback for the sexism in society. It was interesting as a theory. I never saw her work. |

Bonus question: Have you ever been to a strip club? Yes- but it was so long ago, I don’t remember much about it!. And I also went to a private party where there were 2 male strippers. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that one! 😂 |

I usually print my directions from MapQuest and have them in my lap if I'm going somewhere unfamiliar.

Actually I've been probably 4 or 5 times, which is surprising u guess since I was never really interested ( it was mostly bachelor parties); The last time I went to one was with Co workers, and one of my female colleagues paid for me and her to get a lap dance together. |

I went to a strip club once, when on a business trip, just to see what it was about.
I found it a huge waste of time.
There were perhaps 8 women dancing on top of different tables. The music was good but interrupted every ten seconds with an emcee declaring "Maria is now naked!"
I watched a lap dance with someone nearby, and it was the only thing that remotely turned me on, but why would I want to subject myself to that frustration? And paying for someone to pretend to like you feels a bit pathetic.
I stayed for maybe 20 minutes.
