I have to admit the whole tone of this bothered me. It seems very glib - hey, I don't want him so it's okay for him to have sex with someone else! No big deal! Like this was a friend she supposed to go the movies with and had to cancel so she's telling her friend to go with someone else. And all this congratulating just because she's being honest? Where are the questions about how this affects her marriage, how it affects her husband and his feelings? I suppose having been the refused for so long, I'm just bothered by how she apparently thinks it's no big deal as long she lets him have an affair.

It seemed like she was genuinely frustrated for her part and used a bit of nervous laughter while everyone else laughed. But I got a seriousness from her that you rarely hear. I bet they get far more serious in the interview together, but maybe less honest. Can't wait to watch. I hope there's an online source! |
