I don't like the term "he stole my wife" either. I also dislike "you upgraded from him." Sometimes the dynamics between two people just suck, someone doesn t always have to be the Villain, but assigning that role to "the other" makes leaving easier.
In this case the first wife's craziness drove him into the arms of another. Glad he is happy now.

No, he drove his wife into the arms of another. I hate that expression. Especially when the "theft" was of a long term refused. He considers his wife chattel property.
If you don't take care of your spouse then someone else eventually will. And perhaps sooner than later.
