My ex is a narc too! I've been divorced for 3 months. (after a 2yr. divorce, my ex went through 5 attorneys)
It's amazing the stories my teens tell me when it's their week to stay with me. It just confirms that I made the right decision, to get out.
Have you heard about greysexual? That fits my ex. Now comes the fun part of identifying a narc when the dating begins, and retraining my teens, that "it's okay to say no, and not be like that, and that they don't have to tolerate such behavior."
When your dealing with a sociopath or a narcissist, they can not love they just want to win.
They know how to seek out some of the kindest, most caring, giving, argument avoiding people out there, and abuse them.

www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=graysexualThat seemed to fit my ex. My ex was certainly 'capable' of sex when it was time to procreate, and the 'just enough' during our first years of marriage. I look back and remember her answers to our therapist about sex and intimacy. She proclaimed " I don't see the need for it. It's not that important to me. it really doesn't matter". So it's someone who "can" have sex, is capable of it, sort of has a small desire for it, when it fits their needs. Mostly ,enough to love bomb you in the beginning stage, or a bait and switch, then it's "nothing but small pecks, and a few scripted words. Just enough to keep you fooled and going into years of doubt and a false "settling or contentment". The big "why" stage begins and lasts, and lasts. Will my ex be capable of having sex again? Will it be more bait and switch to the next victim? I doubt it. Even more important, "it's no longer my problem, or my concern....FREEDOM!!!" Well, enough about that, al that downer stuff! You go out their and have a pleasant day, spoil your beautiful self!! I hope you have a day full of wonderful compliments, YOU DESERVE IT!

Good to see you post again, pointbreakgirl. We ARE surrounded by narcissists, I feel like. Most especially in our SMs, and sadly I’m some of my dating since divorce I have found myself attracted to similar. I’m very wary now, not look out for a person without this trait. I have work to do on ME to figure out why my “spark” is triggered by people who do not, in the end, seem to care for/about me.

The current problem - - how to deal with a narcissist ex husband when you have to.
Old problem - - how to deal with a narcissist husband 24/7.
Your current problem is a much much better problem to have than your old problem.

I used to post a lot about my sexless marriage. I have been divorced now for several years. 🎉😁 Since my divorce, I have put up with continued bs bc of custody/visitation, you name it. Turns out my x is a narcissist! I have done a lot of reading up on narcissists (because we are surrounded by them shockingly enough!) It turns out there are several sexual styles of narcissists. One is hypersexuality, and the other is A-sexuality. Just say no to narcissists! CHOO CHOO!! 🤠 Oh, welcome to the club. I had NO idea mine was an abusive narcissist. Just thought I was fat, ugly and needy. Turns out it was him that had the problem. Have now spent 18 months being subjected to his games. Every one is a confirmation that I did the right thing......

The politically correct AVEN definition: "Those who may be sexually attracted to others under certain circumstances" The real definition: "I will Bait N Switch you into a marriage, and then leave you high and dry" Citation: I married one.
