I find articles like this helpful. As I read them I look for similarities in my own mistakes, and ways I can better improve myself.

Similarities in my STBX's behavior, and how much it will help everyone to limit her control.

Similarities in my upbringing, and in my spouses upbringing, and how much of that was carried over into our own parenting of our 6 kids.

I am always learning and open to changing and improving. Also getting bolder, to take chances and make mistakes.
