My situation is in reverse of most. being the stay at home dad for 19yrs, assisting my W's career, and taking on, raising multiple children with special needs.
I would normally be at the front of the line, cheering on equal rights for men to be fathers and dads! However I want better guidelines, because each case is different. My case is different. It's not about money, motherhood, cheating, alcohol, drugs, gambling, violence,etc... It's about the emotional welfare of my children. It's about dealing with a manipulative controller, one who wants to raise their children in a loveless, sexless, blameless, (always the victim) lack of empathy environment and sees that as perfectly normal. A much harder case to prove.
A 70/30 arrangement, parallel parenting, little contact, with strict guidelines will hopefully be the outcome. my fear is a 50/50 where guidelines continue to be trampled, and it's back to court again, and again.
