Mine probably still thinks he had it much worse. He had the health problems. He was the poor sick guy. All I had to do was agree to be celibate the rest of my life. /snark Exactly what my husband thinks.

Mine is a refuser due to ill health Arthritis,Fibromyalgia,Depression and now Cancer, I'm old fashioned inasmuch that I couldn't abandon her, mother of our twins whilst in such poor health, so I'm sat here basically waiting till her Stage 3 Kidney cancer gets worse the inevitable happens, As you can imagine this makes me so conflicted on many many levels, as my libido has never diminished since my 20's tbh, its the running joke that the Cat has more of a sex life and that just sleeps eats and poo's

I agree that if the refuser has a sex drive then there may be mutual unhappiness but if not, like in my situation, I don't think they think anything is wrong because not having the drive or need for sex is normal for them and they are getting their fill of intimacy through day to day activity.
