I was thinking the other day. My car is 9 years old. It almost has 100000 miles and it's been paid off for a long while. I've thought of trading it in but it's been solid and I like it. So I hold onto it because, most of all, I love having only one car payment to deal with. Lately I have been wondering what will hang in there longer, my car or me in my marriage. In a way, it's slightly comical. It's almost like a competition I like to have with my car. Lol. It keeps me entertained. As i think about it though, to be fair, I've been "running" for 3 years longer than it has. We bought the car a few years into the marriage. ...so I have a head start. It'll have to last a few years past my divorce date to win. Another one is my watch. It was a wedding gift to me from my wife on my wedding day. So we are truly on the same time table. It's kicking my ass though. It still seems brand new... my marriage, on the other hand, does not. XD So how bout you? Got anything that you wonder if it'll last longer than your marriage?

I didn't have a car last longer than my marriage. I was married 23 years. Don't make my mistake.

Pick anything made twenty-four years ago with more than four years of life left in it.

I was given a bottle of cologne designated for use during intimate encounters. I could now perhaps sell it for a handsome price on ebay as a heritage item.
