It's a no brainer really. Oh no my husband doesn't buy me flowers anymore or surprise me with a trip to theatre and a meal at a swanky restaurant.... maybe that's because whenever it comes to sex or physical closeness you always have a headache. If I was to offer my best possible advice to a newly wed couple it would be, make time for one another and make room for sex (aiming for a bare minimum of once every 1-2 weeks. It's not like it's hard!

I cannot even get my wife to read an article if it has anything to do with sex, she immediately rejects it. I would love to spend a day in her shoes and see what goes on her thought process when it comes to sex.

It's not like it's hard! One of the great ironies is that I gave advice at every wedding we went to after we were married. I told the man things to do to pleasantly surprise his new wife, and I told the new wife, "have sex a lot." Somehow, my wife never caught on. I hope every other bride did.

"Lather, rinse, repeat"? Either way, she will hear it or you will have some alone-time to work on something you're interested in.

Since @smartkat has not said it, I will.
In other news, the sun rises in the east.

The sooner you stop caring about why (her thought process), the sooner your head will dwell in a better place. And yes, I know it's easier said than done.

If you are thinking along the lines that - "*Normal* people like sex, so my spouse should too" "Within my spouse lies a sexual dynamo who is suppressing a latent desire to fuck me 6 ways to Sunday" Then you are on an absolute loser. And all the articles in the world about how great sex is are of no account.
It would be like me being force fed articles pointing out that Malcolm Turnbull is the greatest Prime Minister this country ever had. Even in the (unlikely) event that I read such articles, it wouldn't alter my position about fabulous Malcolm by one iota.
