If a MERMAID can find love..... (well, let's back track, she found a love for herself, pursued her passions/dreams and then found love).. what's holding any of us back? 
No, seriously, this kooky lady made me cry in this video. I am happy for her and her "Mer-Wrangler."
What I see here, though, is a woman BEING WHO SHE IS.
She had herself figured out: "I wanna be a freaking MERMAID!!" Yeah!!!
Life kinda took off from that point.
Know yourself.
BE yourself.
NEVER SETTLE.
(Even when "settling into" a relationship, or --GASP!!! Even marriage!! -- never settle)
I miss Lao Tzu --- he used to always say "Live life with Passion, Intimacy and Enthusiasm" (or SOMETHING CLOSE, I think he used a different word than enthusiasm, but I definitely remember him saying not to apologize for creating a life of passion and intimacy for yourself).
I adopted that philosophy as I got out of my marriage and I remind myself of it often (it's why I am pursuing my motorcycle license).
