healthresearchfunding.org/sexless-marriage-statistics/I found this article that I had not seen before, although none of the items were any real news. It's nice to have such a collection in one place. Do any of these stick out as new or surprising? Are there any that you might question based on your own knowledge or research?

Personally, I didn't observe anything new in that referenced piece.
But it does confirm that in marriages, there are - Problems that *you* could address Problems your spouse could address Problems that both spouses could address mutually.
And I strongly suspect that such problems ARE addressed, in many marriages, by the spouses individually and collectively addressing these resolvable problems.
The marriages that can be fixed, get fixed. And they get fixed early on. They got fixed ages ago if they were fixable.
What's left, are the marriages that can't be fixed. The ones with deeply entrenched long term problems that they have been unable to individually or collectively resolve. The ones in such dysfunction that there is not even any sex going on. The ones you see in here. The ILIASM deals.
And if you are in an ILIASM deal the stats are 100%.

7. According to USA Today, some 20% to 30% of men and some 30% to 50% of women claim to have little if any sex drive.
If all men are sexual, then their chances of being with women with little if any sex drive (in sexless marriage) is up to 50 percent. Factor in that there are actually up to 30 percent of men who don't want sex, then SM count rises above 50 percent. That's a lot of marriages.

I wonder how many couples got together with equally low to zero sex drive for whatever reason and are just humming along in wedded bliss?

There are millions of sexless marriages. This forum has less than 1000 members. We are a microscopic proportion of what's out there.

You have to be an idiot to stay in such a contract. I was. I am no longer.

I was with him 36 years, 34 years married, completely sexless more than a total of 15 years (including one 8 year stretch) not including years with once yearly sex. I've now been for 4 years. In a relationship with passion, romance and love. Entered that at age 61.

My point is that if the world were perfect and all the LL people were matched up together, there would be fewer HL people stuck in SM's
