This comes up every so often. Anyway I went on vacation with an old army buddy and his wife, after 25 years, wives went shopping we went drinking and so I asked about the sexless marriage and he said their marriage was great for the last 25 years every Thursday night she got naked, he jumped on. I said any oral and got a funny look. So for the rest of the week I was being secret-squirrel and this was really their sex life, no oral, missionary only and they both thought that was great ................. and so here we are quantity verses quality with the added question who decides quality

I would be happy and still with my ex if I had had that. I have more sex and more variety in my post sm relationship but could be happy with less especially if we were still boinking naked after 25 years. Given my 34 year marriage that I included 5 and 8 year stretches of no boinking or nakedness and sometimes only yearly sex, for them to have naked weekly after 25 years sounds remarkably sexy and loving.

It was quality for them. It made them feel loved and wanted and desired.
As well, it's all they knew with each other. You don't miss what you've never had. If I had that, I would still be married despite all the other dysfunction, I would have mixed in doggy, my God just missionary?

Not everyone likes oral or thinks it's ok to do. They could be doing exactly what they like. They may wonder why you care about their sex lives.

He can put your arms under your knees to rotate your hips, pillow under your ass, pull you down the bed to use the foot board as leverage, or if your flexible really rotate your hips and back until tomorrow knees are to your shoulders for a good view and to allow access for his hands, while he semi kneels. It was our go to position when she wanted me to take charge, or pull her over and hang her butt off the edge of the bed. If her butt was on the bed, she would be about 1" to high, so I would have to secretly put my sandles or slippers for the added height. But hanging her off the need gave me more power over her since she lost all leveraged to move. |

Still, no matter what we would prefer, the couple may be having exactly the type of sex that makes them happy. That is far more then is true for most people posting on the site. They also may be having far more variety than the man described. Some people do not believe in sharing details of their sex life.

It doesn't sound bad at all. It's intimate time, touching, being together. Plus if it's on a schedule then it's something to look forward to, it gives new meaning to "hump day". And that's fifty two more times then I had sex last year.

It appears to me to be a highly functional relationship.
Their respective individual needs (for weekly missionary sex) are obviously being met.
They must both be quite happy with the situation having done it 1,300 times since 1992.
"Good on them" I'd say.
Whereas it may appear pretty bland to me, I'd imagine they would - quite rightly - not give a fuck about what I thought of their rooting regime.
It works for them, and that's all it has to do.
