I just walked 2 miles today at lunch. Yay for me!
We actually have a program at work for which we get points for exercise that we can later turn in to Amazon gift certificates; this weekly two-mile group walk is just part of it. It is nice because we invite/cajole each other to walk, and it brings us a little bit of camaraderie in the workplace.
Now, for all my good intentions, I don't think I'll have a bikini body by Memorial Day... unless someone wants to loan me theirs!
Nonetheless, I'm going to try to keep up regular exercise, even if modest.
How do you get your daily exercise during the workweek?

I go for a walk at lunch every day that it is not actively raining. I hope to go bicycling now that the weather is warm again since I can go further that way. If I dont get outside and move around at lunch, the afternoon just drags ...

I don't think I'll have a bikini body by Memorial Day... Dan you just triggered that awful memory of that dude wearing a bikini posted by islandtime. Stop!! (Your company is very employee friendly. that's awesome.)

Yay, that's so great Dan! I walk and run with our golden retriever pup a couple times a day and I want to join yoga and start dancing. Oh I also go walk the beaches here with women from my MeetUp group once in a while. It helps with mood and stress so much!!!
Enjoy your walks..

That's fantastic Dan.
I like hiking, but my stamina is very low since I was knocked flat by illness this winter for a month (bronchitis, double ear infection, sinus infection-- they kept trying to diagnose me with pneumonia)
I'm not up to actual "hiking" yet but I live next to a trail and I try to walk there or through a nearby park most days.
I also garden (not ladylike pruning in a skirt -- picture relocating shrubbery and dragging wheelbarrows full of rock). I also "bike" my dog. (Bikejoring)

I also garden (not ladylike pruning in a skirt -- picture relocating shrubbery and dragging wheelbarrows full of rock). This stuff mentioned above is more work than some realize. I like this particular off-topic. This sort of thing is important to self preservation so to speak, not to mention health. As for the daily exercise, I am one of the fortunate ones, I work in the doggone steel plant.

Cycling is my exercise of choice. However, the weather, work, and other commitments have lately been conspiring against me. When I can't get out on the road, I have a trainer that allows me to ride indoors, which burns calories, burn it also numbs the brain. I also run reluctantly and play volleyball in a local rec league.

I have a lot of small portions of excercise, adding up to average of 30 min. cycling per day, and walking about the same. In the weekend more, but never much time for doing more sports.
