Doesn't it feel good to do things your ex would hate? (Or - not have to do something you hate, that he insisted upon.)
Things like that are the bright side of leaving.

thefullmoon creepy... stbx found it necessary too to remind me of things I needed to do. (walking barefoot in the house was dirty though, and strictly forbidden)

I noticed it then, but it was not a big deal to me...but it was only tip of an iceberg... everything had to be done in right way (his) ... |

thefullmoon exactly the same with my stbx. According to him there was only one good way for everything. And I was lucky to have him to teach me.

My mother ....
There was only ever one way of doing things: her way. If you went to borrow a pot of her, she'd give you
half an hour's instructions on how to boil water - even if I had cooked her dinner the day before.
If you borrowed her spade, you'd get a half hour lecture on how to dig .....
Some people are like that. They do not make good relationship material, that's for sure.

It is all in the past...nearly... he is sick old man spending 24 hours a day in his bedroom...and I am his carer and...full time student with rich social independent life.... |

Does he demand wearing shoes in the house? My STBX always puts her shoes on the kitchen countertops and thinks nothing of it, and I honestly can't recall a single time seeing her wash her hands before preparing a meal or hearing the faucet run at home after she has gone to the bathroom, yet she was revolted if I licked my fingertips to wet them before rubbing her nipples or clitoris and somehow in her mind that was different then me directly licking said lady parts. Oh, and she doesn't mind the dogs licking her face and mouth, even when they just finished licking their ass; however, try to give her a kiss after going down on her, and she will quickly turn away and start throwing fists. I questioned my own sanity when having conversations like these with her as I figured one of us must be crazy. 😜 😝 |
